# Removing Spawned Mobs

> Bulk-remove the mobs LodeEntities spawned: all of them, or the ones a filter names.

Removes spawned mobs in bulk. With no filter that means **every LodeEntities mob in every loaded world**; a filter narrows it to the ones you meant.

## Usage

```text theme={null}
/le killall [filter]
```

**Permission:** `lodeentities.killall` **Player-only:** no

## Examples

```text theme={null}
/le killall                          # everything LodeEntities spawned
/le killall [id=crypt_warden]        # only that mob
/le killall [id=wolf|bear]           # either of them
/le killall [radius=50]              # everything within 50 blocks of you
/le killall [id=crypt_warden,radius=50,world=world]
```

Brackets and spaces are optional, so `/le killall id=my_mob, radius=50` is the same command. A key may repeat and `|` lists alternatives (`[id=a,id=b]` and `[id=a|b]` mean the same), while **different** keys all have to match.

## Filters

| Filter | Also | Takes | Matches |
| :- | :- | :- | :- |
| `id` | `mob`, `name`, `type` | mob ids | mobs declared under that id in `Mobs/` |
| `base` | `entity` | vanilla entity types | the entity under the model, e.g. `[base=zombie]` |
| `world` | | loaded world names | mobs in those worlds |
| `radius` | `r`, `range` | blocks, up to 512 | mobs that close to whoever ran it. **Players only.** |
| `spawner` | | spawner ids | mobs a [spawner](https://entities.lodemc.net/spawners.md) is responsible for |
| `rule` | `spawnrule` | spawn rule ids | mobs a [natural spawn rule](https://entities.lodemc.net/natural-spawns.md) placed |

## What it touches

**Only mobs LodeEntities spawned.** Vanilla mobs, tamed pets and other plugins' entities are invisible to the command: no filter reaches them, and neither does the unfiltered form. [NPCs](https://entities.lodemc.net/npcs.md) are skipped too, unless the filter names them with `id`, and players' [pets](https://entities.lodemc.net/pets.md) are never touched.

Mobs are **removed, not killed**: no drops, no death animation, no `+onDeath` effects. It is the cleanup tool, not a way to farm a boss.

## Typos cost a message, not your mobs

A bad filter is reported **before** anything is removed: an unknown key, an unregistered mob id, a world that isn't loaded.

```text theme={null}
/le killall [id=zombie]
'zombie' is an entity type, not a mob id - filter on it with [base=zombie].
```

What it did comes back broken down by mob:

```text theme={null}
Removed 14 mob(s) matching [id=crypt_warden|skeletal_minion].
- skeletal_minion x11
- crypt_warden x3
```

## Notes

* Mobs in unloaded chunks aren't there to remove. Run it again once the area loads, or use `/le spawner reset <id> true` for a spawner's population, which is tracked by id rather than found by scanning.
* `radius=` measures from the sender, so the console narrows with `world=` instead.
* On [Folia](https://entities.lodemc.net/folia.md) a command only reaches its own region: the unfiltered form sweeps what that region can see and says which worlds it could not read. `[radius=…]` run in game is always exact there.
