# Spawning at Coordinates

Spawns a registered mob at exact coordinates in a named world. Unlike [`/le spawn`](spawn) it needs no player, so it works from the console, a command block, or any plugin that runs commands as console.

## Usage

```text theme={null}
/le spawnat <mob> <world> <x> <y> <z> [scale]
```

**Permission:** `lodeentities.spawnat` **Player-only:** no

## Arguments

| Argument | Required | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `mob` | ✅ | A registered mob id. Autocompletes to registered mobs only. |
| `world` | ✅ | The world to spawn in, by name. |
| `x` | ✅ | X coordinate. Absolute — there is no sender to be relative to. |
| `y` | ✅ | Y coordinate. |
| `z` | ✅ | Z coordinate. |
| `scale` | ❌ | Size multiplier from `0.0625` to `16.0`. Multiplies the mob's own `scale`. |

## Examples

```text theme={null}
/le spawnat toast_king world 128 64 -320
/le spawnat toast world_nether 12 40 88 1.5
```

## Why it exists

`/le spawn` answers "put one in front of me" and needs a player. This one answers "put one exactly here" and names its world outright, which is what lets a custom item from Nexo or ItemsAdder, a command block, a Citizens click action or a scheduler plugin spawn a LodeEntities mob without either side knowing the other exists. Those already run as console, so no permission is needed.

## Notes

* The chunk is loaded before spawning. Coordinates given outright are routinely somewhere nobody is standing, and an entity cannot be added to an unloaded chunk — without this the command would silently do nothing exactly where scripted spawns tend to point.
* On Folia the spawn runs on the region that owns those coordinates, so it works from the console, which belongs to no region.
* The command confirms with the world and block coordinates it actually spawned at.
* Same guards as `/le spawn`: an unknown or disabled mob id, or a mob whose model isn't loaded, is reported rather than half-spawned.
