LodeEntities brings your own creatures to your Minecraft server. Design a model in Blockbench, drop it in a folder, and it becomes a living, animated mob in your world. Give it a name, health, attacks and abilities in a few lines of YAML. No coding, and no resource pack to build by hand.
  • Custom mobs. A vanilla entity underneath, your model on top, and the stats, equipment and behaviour you give it.
  • Effects. What your mob does, written the way MythicMobs skills are written. Hundreds of mechanics, targeters and conditions, and MythicMobs skill lines load as they are.
  • Models. Blockbench models with animations, hitboxes, nametags and shadows, packed into a resource pack for you.
  • Spawning. Spawners that keep a population alive in one place, and natural spawn rules that put mobs wherever the world suits them.
  • NPCs. Mobs that stand still, look at players and start branching conversations.
  • Pets (premium). Players tame, claim or are given mobs that follow them, fight for them, level up, evolve and can be ridden.

What you can build

Anything from a decorative pet wandering your spawn to a raid boss with phases, timed attacks, homing projectiles and loot. Mobs react to what happens around them: when they spawn, get hit, die, or when a player clicks them. You decide what happens next.

Requirements

  • Paper or Folia, Minecraft 1.21.4 or newer.
  • Players need the generated resource pack to see models. LodeEntities can merge it into Nexo’s or ItemsAdder’s pack.
The model engine is built in: there is no second plugin to install.

My First Mob

Install the plugin, drop in a model and spawn it, in about five minutes.

My First Effect

Make your mob greet players, hit back and go out with a bang.

Coming from MythicMobs?

Drop your mob and skill files in and they load.
